Volunteer With Us
You can make a real difference
Reach Out for Mental Health is powered by volunteers, people who care deeply about listening, understanding and helping others through difficult times.
Our volunteers are everyday people with empathy, patience and a genuine desire to help someone feel heard and valued.
What our volunteers do
Volunteers support our work by:
-
Facilitating coffee afternoons that bring people together for conversation and connection
-
Providing emotional support in safe, non-judgemental spaces
-
Helping individuals feel seen, understood and less alone
You don’t need formal experience to get involved, just kindness, commitment and a willingness to learn.
Previous lived experience of suicidal thoughts or emotional distress is welcome but not essential. Full training and ongoing support are provided.
If you’ve got the time to give and want to make a difference in your community, we’d love to hear from you.
