Try to remember that problems are temporary, but suicide is permanent.

Give yourself time for the circumstances to change and for the pain to subside.

In the meantime, you should speak to someone about the way you are feeling. This could be a family member or a friend or an organisation like ours. There are many services that can help, such as your doctor or even A&E.

You should never try to manage suicidal feelings on your own. Professional help and support from a loved one can make it easier to overcome any challenges that are causing suicidal thoughts.

Try to stay hopeful, no matter how hard your situation may seem, know that there are ways of dealing with the issues you face. Most people have experienced suicidal thoughts and survived, only to be very thankful later.
